Its history began in 1935, when the <\/span>Real Aeroclub de Reus<\/span><\/a> decided to build a landing field on this land. Years later, during the <\/span>Spanish Civil War<\/span><\/b>, this space housed one of the three military aerodromes in the area.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 1952, the facilities were extended with the addition of a <\/span>compacted runway<\/span><\/b>, measuring 2,200 metres by 45 metres. From then on, the airport was opened to civilian passengers, and twenty years later, the <\/span>terminal building<\/span><\/b>, dedicated to users, was built.
