Torredembarra Lighthouse\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Let’s start with the jewel in the crown. The <\/span>Torredembarra Lighthouse<\/span><\/b> was inaugurated in 2000 and became the last lighthouse to be built on the Iberian Peninsula. Beach of Muntanyans<\/span><\/b> can still be enjoyed in the same way as it used to be, as the landscape has been preserved over the years. It is made up of dunes and salt marshes where you can relax, go hiking and observe the different animals and plants that live there. Canyadell Cove\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you want to enjoy a film-like sunset, don’t hesitate to visit <\/span>Cala Canyadel<\/span><\/b>l at sunset. This hidden beach, only 60 metres long, is located between rocky walls and cliffs that rise up to 25 metres high. It is very close to the lighthouse, which can be reached on foot, and marks the boundary with <\/span>Altafulla<\/span><\/b>, its neighbouring town.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paella Beach\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

All the beaches in this municipality are made up of fine, golden sand, although <\/span>Paella Beach<\/span><\/b> is known for its 90-metre-long, one-kilometre-long beach. It is located right next to the marina and fishing port, and has a fish market where fish is auctioned daily. In this area you will also find a wide variety of restaurants and nightlife. One of the curiosities that you will notice when strolling through this town on the Costa Daurada is a strange platform located in the middle of the sea, in front of the Church of Sant Joan Baptista. This is <\/span>El Bloc<\/span><\/b>. In the past, this platform had a pyramid-shaped structure which, thanks to its pulleys, was used to moor and unmoor boats from the beach. It was later replaced by another structure in the shape of an <\/span>alpha and omega<\/span><\/b>. It is currently being remodelled, but the platform is still present and can even be reached by swimming.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
